Ginger, the cancer Stricken Min Pin, has been reunited with her family.

On April 23 around 10:30 pm, Ginger escaped through a small hole in the backyard fence in The Meadows Place near Kirkwood and West Bellfort. (Click here to read the original story on Animal Attraction!)

I just received this email from her Mom, Monique...

"This is an amazing story. The minute we found out Ginger was missing we prayed and searched non-stop, we even took our boxers on the search. The next morning we called a local sign and banner shop (M3Graphics) to have some signs printed up, the owner ended up donating 10 full color large signs - what a blessing. We posted up flyers and signs in 4 major intersections and within the neighborhood. Sunday morning right before church we decided to post some signs up at 4 local churches. We started getting numerous calls. We received a call from a pizza delivering driver that said he spotted a small black dog. We rushed over but did not find the delivery guy but we did find a small "chubby" miniature pinscher - we are now searching for his owners. About 1 hour later we received another call that they have a certified and register 1 yr old female miniature pinscher that needs to be adopted. We went on to see the female miniature that needed adoption --she is a beauty and sweet as can be! As soon as we got her in the car we received another call that they had spotted a small black/tan miniature pinscher. We rushed over and sure enough it was our GINGER! Our toy miniature pinscher traveled a long distance from home and ended up in a garage about 2 miles from our home - the family that found Ginger in their garage were so kind and loving. Basically we now have our Ginger back home plus two other loving miniature pinschers. The chubby miniature pinscher was found near Kirkwood/Bissonnet, 77099 - please help us find his owners by calling 713.526.5151 or 832.419.1616!!

Thank You, Monique"

Thanks Monique for the heartwarming story and for helping save the other lost Min Pin!

WOW! The power of faith and goodness. I just received a call from Carlos Escudero owner of EDNI.NET a local graphic design and print studio. He found the chubby miniature pinscher's owners. Carlos picked up the dog collar and called the clinic number. In calling the clinic he found out that a family has reported a black/tan chubby miniature pinscher as missing. He contacted me to let me know about the family looking for a chubby miniature pinscher. The loving “chubby” miniature pinscher will be reunited with his family today! I want to thank Carlos and everyone else who has supported our efforts.

KHOU thank you for your support! Ginger is home with a new family member LUNA the adopted Miniature Pinscher and the "Chubby" miniature pinscher will be home back home his family this evening!
