But, the thirteen-year golden retriever is among the 1 in 5 adult dogs who suffer from listlessness and pain ridden joints associated with arthritis. Three years ago, owner Kim Jessup noticed his joints were stiff and he was having difficulty with sitting and standing. After a series of x-rays and physical examination from his vet, Rocket was diagnosed with poly-arthritis, affecting several areas throughout his body. Today, Rocket is back to resuming his active lifestyle with the help of the prescription medicine. Rocket is among the many dogs and humans bringing awareness to Arthritis and is the reigning Dog Walk Hero of this year's annual Arthritis Walk.
