The Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Citizens for Animal Protection, HCPHES Veterinary Public Health, Houston Humane Society and the Houston Department of Health and Human Services - Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care encourage Houstonians to "Have a Heart for Homeless Animals" Thursday, February 14th through Monday, February 18th. Each shelter will be promoting the shelter adoption option and offering half price or 2 for 1 pet adoptions to approved adopters.
