A handicapped person's invaluable service dog was 'lost' in a car accident in the Beaumont area. A desperate search is ongoing to find the highly-trained and specialized dog, Gabe.
Gabe is a six-month-old Standard Poodle and was with his Foster Parent/Recipient when they got into a bad car wreck and he disappeared Thursday November 8, 2007. Gabe was wearing his red Service Dog vest, collar with tag and phone number 713-703-6924, as well as his leash. The wreck was on Hwy 69 South, North bound, right near the Highland Avenue overpass in Beaumont, TX. There is a REWARD for information leading to his recovery. If you know anything about Gabe, please call Allie at 713-703-6924- Diana at 409-201-5186, or the Beaumont Police Dept. I work in Beaumont and will spread word about Gabe! Hope & prayers that he is recovered asap, and in good health!
Thanks, Melody!
Thank you ALL for looking for Gabe, for your prayers and for passing on the information about him. A family in Vidor was taking care of him, wondering where he came from. Vidor is a long way from where he started! They called a little after noon and we picked him up immediately. I don't know who is happier - Gabe, my daughter, me, or Allie with My Service Dog, Inc.
Again, Thank you ALL for your attention to our problem!
