Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury on charges related to illegal dogfighting. Vick and three others were charged with violating federal laws against competitive dogfighting, procuring and training pit bulls for fighting and conducting the enterprise across state lines. I've been watching for news on this story since I first heard it! I just hope that because he's Michael Vick, he doesn't get off on a technicality! Pro-sports players, movie stars, or anybody in the spotlight should not be immune from the law. On top of the fact that they are looked to as role models. I hope the different sports associations take a stance against dog-fighting. I signed the petition, I hope more sign it as well.
