NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell ordered Michael Vick to stay away from the Atlanta Falcons' training camp until the league reviews the dogfighting charges against him. From NFL.com wire reports... Goodell said in a letter to Vick, "While it is for the criminal justice system to determine your guilt or innocence, it is my responsibility as commissioner of the National Football League to determine whether your conduct, even if not criminal, nonetheless violated league policies, including the Personal Conduct Policy." The NFL said Vick would still get his preseason pay and Goodell told the Falcons to withhold any disciplinary action of their own until the league's review was completed. The Falcons will open camp July 26, the same day Vick is scheduled to be arraigned in Virginia on charges of sponsoring a dogfighting operation. Team officials declined comment other than to say a news conference was scheduled for 3 pm CT today at owner Arthur Blank's office in Atlanta. To read the full story go to nfl.com

YES! I commend NFL Commissioner Goodell. His job cannot be an easy one! I'm anxious to hear the news conference today!
Tie him up on a five ft. chain, starve him, then make him fight for his life and then if he is still alive after the fight, use a stapler to pull his wounds together then put him back on his chain,in the mud hole, with no food until his next fight. You may also want to file his teeth to a point. Of course this will never happen, but its the thought that counts. Right?
I'm with you, Mike!! On a previous post I said we should douse him with water and put electricity to him because I had read he had done that to at least one female who didnt "perform" as he wanted or expected! But I am sure what you are saying is exactly how he treated all of them! Once again - I was raised by the Golden Rule - do unto others .....!! Problem solved again!!
And, as Edna mentioned on another posting concerning this issue, no one has even mentioned the poor animals that were used as bait animals to train the pits with!! Talk about additional pain and suffering inflicted on helpless loving creatures!! And it goes on and on and on!!!
Yes, the bait dogs are another tragedy in this horrific mess! I'd agree...an eye for an eye. I'm so glad that so many are taking a stand and being the voice for these poor souls. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
