We are thrilled to welcome Stacy Fox as a new contributor to Animal Attraction!
Stacy joined us this week and has already done a terrific job of updating the blog with important, interesting or just plain entertaining information. If you have something you'd like included in the blog, you can e-mail Stacy at ssrfox2003@yahoo.com She has been involved in all aspects of animal protection and welfare since 1989. Many of you are familiar with Stacy through her work with the Houston SPCA. She once worked as the Director of Development and Outreach for the SPCA and continues to work for them in various capacities . She also served as the Government and Public Affairs Liaison for the Peninsula Humane Society (San Mateo, CA) and Director of Public Relations for the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (Santa Clara, CA). Stacy is currently a consultant with the National Council on Pet Population Study and Policy. She has produced Pet Telethons in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Houston, Austin, Indianapolis, Rochester, NY, Tampa, FL, and Greenville, SC. Thanks, Melody and thank you, Michelle, for the great welcome! I'm so proud and excited to be a part of the Animal Attraction team. I'm looking forward to posting fun, entertaining, educational, and important animal information. I can't wait to start getting emails of event announcements, press releases, breaking news and updates from everyone!!! I truly believe that by sharing information we can make a difference in the lives of our animal friends!

Welcome Stacy! It'll be great to read your reports! Friends of BARC is hosting a "From Wags to Whiskers" day at BARC this Saturday, June 16. You can see the flyer at www.friendsofbarc.org!
