Firefighters had their hands full when a house went up in flames in Sugar Land Friday.
Firefighters from Sugar Land and Missouri City learned there were several pets in the house so they risked their lives to go in and save them. Most of the animals were hiding because they were so scared. One cat had to be resuscitated. Other cats and dogs were given oxygen at the scene. Along with the firefighters, Fort Bend EMS and the Sugar Land Animal Control Office came to the aid of the frightened pets. The house was damaged but not destroyed. 6 CommentsLeave a comment |
Way to go to everyone involved. At least they saved the animals. In todays world it is refreshing to see there is still a good side of mankind. Thanks.

I AM VERY HAPPY TO SEE FIREFIGHTERS SAVING PETS AFTER ALL THEY TOO ARE GOD'S CREATURES.
GOD BLESS ALL INVOLVED.
These firefighters who risk their lives everyday for humans should be doubly blessed for saving God's furry creatures. Angels in human form, everyone of these firefighters. Thank you for your service!!!!
I am so glad to know that fire fighters risk their lives to save these animals. I'm sure the person these babies belong to is eternally greatful. I know I would be. God Bless you (fire fighters) for your huge hearts. A speedy recovery to the owner.
