"We are doing 2 for 1 adoptions (not half price) through December 31 This can be any combo of dogs or cats and applies at Saving Animals Across Borders Adoption Center at Northwest Mall and Friends of BARC offsites at the Petsmarts." I've learned the City put the kibosh on that plan, which has a lot of people upset. At least two BARC supporters have asked people to call City Hall about it.

Cassie is going to make someone a very good pet and I hope she finds a happy home with love and care. She needs a ball, she needs many balls, she is going to make someone a good ball dog, if you try with her and teach her to fetch. Tonya
Did the city give any reason, explanation, justification as to why they put a halt to the 2 for 1 adoptions? 2 for 1 adoptions is a great way to keep animals who were either rescued at the same time or let animals who have become companions stay together. It makes for an easier transition into the new home and is a great idea! Putting the kibosh on something like this makes no sense whatsoever!!! Please keep us posted on this...
