Matthew and Christine Bean have a picture of Scotch displayed with his collar and ashes. In June, Matthew and Christine Bean dropped off their dog Scotch at a Cedar Hill PETCO store for a routine grooming. A few hours later the dog was dead. A PETCO groomer found Scotch near death after he was drying from a cleaning. The dog was taken to the veterinarian but died of heart failure. Read more about the story here, as well as watch the video. 3 CommentsLeave a comment |
This is such a sad story. Pekeigneses should not be put in those dryers too. I just thought that was common sense, but I guess it wasn't to others.
My sister took her dog in for a dip and the lady giving her the dip decided to answer the phone while she was still muzzled. When she came back, the dog drowned in the dip. And this was at a vet's office. People's carelessness is shocking to me.
Please everyone be careful and stay with your animal while at the groomers and vet's office.
A few years back, a cat drowned while being groomed at a local Petco. HOW, I ask you, does a cat drown unless it is somehow restrained or held under water? This is very sad and I am so sorry for their loss.
Well i think that it is the PETCO's fault because if that kind of a dog can breath in a drying cage. Then why would you put the dog in there in the first place. ~*!!!DUH!!!*~
