Maybe you've received an email warning about the dangers of raisins and grapes for your dog. Normally, when I get a "warning" email like that, I'll Google it to see if it's some sort of hoax or chain letter (see the Urban Legends Reference, one of my favorites). But reader Sheila in Galveston already did her homework, and wanted to warn me this grape warning is true! This is a great page for anyone needing advice on toxic foods and plants. Also, the ASPCA offers a hotline that owners can call in case of a pet emergency that is listed on the page. However, you might be charged a fee.
