I'm trying to get in touch with Yvonne David of Special Pals. I've only been able to get a recorded message. I ran into Yvonne at a BARC event, and we talked a bit. I've been hesitant about Special Pals because of its clouded history, but Yvonne says, under "new management," things are better. I am a volunteer at CAP and we consistantly get animals adopted from Special Pals that Special Pals would not take back. Most were adopted as kittens and puppies and now are no longer little and cute. Is that why Special Pals directs people to take them to CAP? Just my observations.
