This was left in the comments section of the blog post of the man arrested for torturing a puppy up in North Texas... I wanted to bring it to the forefront to see if anyone can help.. Right now, I am concerned with an abandoned pit bull puppy. Residents from Louisiana moved in next door about a month ago. They left out of town about two weeks ago leaving the puupy outside without food and water. We have been providing some water and puppy food, filed a complaint with SPCA on Monday, still no response. Puppy is very thin. Please bring light to this matter. Address of abandoned dog is 1506 W. 43rd Street. Owner has been contacted, but still no action. 6 CommentsLeave a comment |

MISTAKE!!! He is still there-was hiding under chair this morning. Any ideas as to what to do.
Please continue to give ths dog WATER and Food daily. Take pictures and email them to the head investigator of SPCA.
Virginia, did you see the blog that was attached to the Dallas story but was entered after you posted your blog and attached it to the Dallas story?? Someone named Michelle posted the following on 4/28 at 3:11 pm: "Can you foster the puppy until a new home can be found? If the SPCA picks it up, they will euthanize due to being pit bull. If you can foster, contact Homeless Pet Placement League for help in finding it a new home. Check out site and contact info at www.hppl.org. Dont wait for the owners to return or the SPCA to intervene, by then the puppy will be dead!" Please followup and contact the league for help!! Even if you cant foster the pup, maybe the league can still help!!!
