the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo There's a new baby gorilla at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It's been ten years since a birth like this and the public got its first look at the tiny creature Monday. Zoo staffers are hoping the mom, Kwisha, will take care of her baby on her own. But if not, zookeepers will be ready to offer some help. There will be a contest to name the gorilla born on last Saturday. West African names are suggested as gorillas are native to that part of the world. |
