What A Flirt!

10:54 PM Wed, Apr 08, 2009 |

Mother Nature is such a flirt! A couple of days of sunshine and 70s then a cold splash of water in the face. No literally we're going to get a cold splash of water.

Rain is back in the forecast for most of the day. Temperatures will be about 20 degrees cooler than the first part of the week. Highs will only reach the middle 50s. In the mountains snow levels are back down below pass elevation. 3 to 5 inches of snow is possible above the...

Schizophrenic Forecast

10:45 PM Tue, Apr 07, 2009 |

Say good by to the sunshine and warm weather! Temperatures Wednesday will be at least 15 degrees cooler than yesterday. Clouds have replaced the blue skies and liquid sunshine is arriving soon.

It looks like the rest of this week will be cloudy and damp right up to Easter Sunday. I know it's April but it looks like we might see another round of low elevation snow, 2500ft by the weekend. Ah yes it's spring in the Pacific Northwest!

One More Time

10:46 PM Mon, Apr 06, 2009 |

Looks like we're going to get one more day of sunny and warm weather. High pressure is keeping clouds and rain bottled up in the Gulf of Alaska. High temperatures will climb back up into the middle 70s Tuesday. Our record for the date is 79 set back in 1996. I think it's unlikely we'll get that warm.

Clouds will start to increase late today as the ridge breaks down. Cooler temperatures are back Wednesday but I think the rain wi...

Finally

10:48 PM Fri, Apr 03, 2009 |

Finally some spring like weather! Saturday starts out chilly and with some fog but rapidly improves through the day. High pressure is building across the entire Pacific Northwest. Daytime highs will reach the lower 60s Saturday

Sunday and Monday a low pressure center off Northern California will help enhance our warming trend. Highs push into the low to middle 70s. Some east winds will develop on Sunday, I don't think we'll see wind...

Breaking News... Spring may just get sprung this weekend

11:24 PM Thu, Apr 02, 2009 |

Just a couple of showers Friday morning then drier and warmer weather begins to build across the Pacific Northwest. High temperatures on Friday will reach the low to middle 50s. By Saturday it will be much more like spring. Temperatures will climb into the lower 60s. Hang on to you hat, find the sun screen and put on your flip flops. Sunday we hit 70 degrees for the first time this year.

Dry weather should hold but temperatures will gr...

Where In The Heck is Spring!

10:36 PM Wed, Apr 01, 2009 |

Thursday is going to be a pack your warm coat and bring your umbrella to work day. The calander says April but the forecast feels more like February.

Temperatures will again be well below normal for this time of year. Highs will creep into the upper 40s and low 50s. Looking at the long range forecast I think we're still on track for a break this weekend. Saturday & Sunday should bring drier conditions with highs in the 60s! Finally si...
