Friday November 6, 2009 Good Friday from the First Alert Storm Center After a windy, wet and busy day yesterday, the weather will stay active again today. The strong winds are over now, but it will still be breezy for most of the day. We'll have more showers vs. the steady rain that we had at times yesterday. However, we are now sitting in a pattern were thunderstorms are very possible...so plan on seeing some thunderstorm activity throughout the day. Also today the Coast will see swells reach 30 ft while the Cascades pick up two to four feet of new snow from Friday through Sunday. If you're driving across the passes today, expect 8-12" of new snow. We get a break from the wet weather Sunday, but a new storm brings more rain and mountain snow Monday night.
