November 2009 ArchivesWednesday November 11, 2009 Good Wednesday from the First Alert Storm Center Showers are still with us so far this morning, however they are breaking up a bit compared to last night. We are going to see more showers today, but we'll mix them in with sunbreaks and possibly an isolated thunderstorm. The best chance for thunderstorms will be at the coast, but just like yesterday, a few could develop inland. Tonight the showers wil... We have been seeing a lot of thunderstorms at the coast, and just offshore. If you happen to live along the coast, be prepared for brief gusty winds, heavy downpours, lightning and hail. Much of the area is just seeing sun, but the coast is pretty active this afternoon. Look for the threat for thunderstorms at the coast, and potentially inland to be with us for the day, along with some showers. Tuesday November 10,... Inland spots today will be generally breezy, but occasionally windy. As for the rain, that will als... Wednesday November 4, 2009
It's a clear and cool morning across the area today. East winds have been going overnight, so Portland has stayed in the upper 40s, while west of Portland we've seen temperatures fall into the lower 30s. This afternoon things will be more uniform, with partly sunny skies, high clouds and highs in the lower 60s. Tomorrow though, the weathe... Tuesday November 3, 2009 Good morning from the First Alert Storm Center It's a cold and foggy morning again across the area. Temperatures are ranging from freezing to the upper 30s. That means if you see some areas of fog on your way to work, and you probably will, you might run into some patchy frost or patchy freezing fog. Shouldn't be a major issue, but just keep it in mind on your way to work and school. To... |
