Wednesday October 14, 2009 Good Morning from the First Alert Storm Center We're off to a wet start today across the area, that won't change much today. Look for wave after wave of moisture to push in today for off an on showers. Also expect breezy conditions inland, and very windy weather at the coast. The weather system pushing in today is really packing some wind at the coast, with gusts in the 45-50 mph range already today. So strong in fact that the National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning until 11am for the central Oregon coast. We could see gusts above 60 mph until then. Also expect wet weather off and on all day today with warmer temperatures near the lower 60s. Those showers will stick around over the next few days, with wave after wave again of moisture pushing in. I think tomorrow though we will find some dry spots with just scattered showers. Friday we'll see some rain on the north end of the area. Saturday look for mainly morning showers. Then Sunday and Monday we'll see some more scattered Have A Great Wednesday, Nick Allard My Latest Updates On Twitter @KGWNickAllard click here |
