Tuesday October 13, 2009 Good Morning from the First Alert Storm Center Rain is pushing in this morning, and the winds are still very strong. Overall it is going to be a breezy to windy and rainy day...however a there is a chance for some rain/snow mix showers believe it or not. That incoming weather system will bring fairly windy conditions to the coast, and very windy conditions to start in the Gorge. That wind in the Gorge will keep bringing the cold air in from the east. As the first push of rain moves in, it's possible some of that rain could start off as either ice pellets or rain/snow before turning to rain very quickly. It looks like the best chance for that will be late in the morning, as the coldest air scours out in the Gorge. Right now I'd say between 11am-2pm. That's just the Gorge. The coast again though will be pretty windy with gusts near 50 mph. After this system pushes in we'll stay off and on wet for the rest of the week with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Have a great Tuesday! My Latest Updates On Twitter @KGWNickAllard click here |
