Rain Becoming Showers

So I say to Russ..."guess how much rainfall we saw at the airport this morning" He said "oh from midnight? How about 27 hundredths of an inch" I couldn't believe it...that's exactly how much we have seen so far at the airport! If you have any tough decisions coming up, I'd ask Russ!

Anyway, the rain has all tapered off now to become much more showery. The trend for the rest of the day is to have decreasing showers, but not much sunshine. In fact, just expect the mostly cloudy skies. Tomorrow conditions will get better.

morning update below:

Wednesday October 21, 2009

Good morning from the First Alert Storm Center

We have a lot of rain across the area so far today. We also have plenty of thunderstorms popping up on doppler radar. Those areas of rain and thunderstorms will be with us this morning, before transitioning to showers for the afternoon. In the mean time those thunderstorms may give you some brief areas of heavy rain and gusty conditions.

The cold front moving through is a quick moving storm, which is why we'll see showers instead of consistent rain this afternoon. Those thunderstorms should taper off as well. This afternoon high temperatures will top out in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Tomorrow we'll have a lot of low level moisture left, so we'll have some fog and low cloud cover develop. Into the afternoon however we'll have partly sunny skies with slightly warmer temperatures. We'll bounce back into a wet pattern for Friday, go dry for Saturday, then wet again for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Have A Great Wednesday,
