Warm weekend, t-storm possible

4:17 PM Fri, Jul 10, 2009 |

 E-mail

After a cloudy start to this Friday, we're finally seeing that sunshine. It will be anough to warm temperatures up into the mid 80s. There's a slight chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon, but most of the storm activity should stick to the Cascades. The best shot for some thunderstorm in the valley comes Sunday. Saturday looks to be mostly sunny and very warm with highs in the upper 80s. Sunday, we'll see more clouds move in and temperatures will drop back down into the mid 70s for highs.

Have A Great Friday,

There are some strange cloud formations over Dallas, OR at 6:10 p.m. Would like comment on the radar interpretation of them
Thanks

Can't really say without seeing them, but thunderstorms create all kinds of weird cloud formations. Thanks for the comment!

Lots of Dry lighting in North Tillamook County coast.

Yep, and the storms could bring rain too. And we get another shot at it tomorrow afternoon and evening.
