We're in store for another very warm day here in the valley, but not as warm as Monday. Weak southwesterly winds are bringing slightly cooler air inland from the coast. Instead of climbing into the 90s today, we'll likely top out in the upper 80s. But come Friday the heat returns! Temperatures will climb into the upper 90s by Sunday! Not in the cards this time, at least not yet. But there's Always August.

whenever Keely shows a live cam of Astoria she mentions the "Astoria" Column. I was born here and we we always told it was the "Astor" Column.
The National Park Service, which operates the site, asked us to refer to it as the Astoria Column SkyCam. Thanks for watching and keeping us on our toes!

Should be typical for summer, fog and low clouds, 60s-70s. Or sunny and windy. Too soon to say for sure right now. By then the coming heat wave SHOULD break.
