Get ready for 100's

3:44 PM Fri, Jul 24, 2009 |

 E-mail

Friday was likely to be the last 'cool' day for some time, with high's in the 80's.
A week-long heat wave arrives Saturday, with temps warming up to about 90.
By Monday and through to Wednesday we'll be flirting with triple-digit temperatures.
We have a good chance to break our all-time high temperature at least one of those days early next week.
Those looking for a little relief from the heat should head to the Coast where an onshore breeze will help keep temperatures in the 70s.

i dont mind the heat but could we get a few t-storms around the area please????

Had some good thunderheads to the east tonight. Clouds in the day would be good, but clouds at night would make for an even warmer night!
