Dry and cold this morning, temperatures have fallen into the middle 20s overnight. Daytime highs will climb into the 40s. Clouds will increase through the day. Tonight we'll see precipitation starting up sometime after 10:00. The storm arriving is very cold, however moisture is limited. Elevations above 500 will see sticking snow. Snow amounts in the hills will total about and inch. The valley floor will have rain & snow.
Computer models keep the center of low pressure offshore. The heaviest precipitation will be confined to the westside. I think the heaviest snow amouts will be in the Coast Range. Our second snow event in one week should be over by Friday afternoon. Temperatures will moderate and precipitation will taper off. Friday afternoon we'll have sun breaks between scattered showers.
