Expect milder but wet conditions Monday with rain showers and snow levels climbing to 5,000 feet.
Showers will taper off this evening but the break will be short lived. A strong storm will arrive Tuesday. That storm will be windy and rainy from the coast to the Cascades with rainfall amounts reaching 1.5 to 2.0 inches.

So far, no watches or warnings posted Monday for area rivers and streams, but we will be keeping an eye on them. Landslides could be a continued problem throughout the region.

Drier weather should make a brief return by Friday.
