Saturday will be a chilly and cloudy. Rain showers will be possible late in the day as a weak weather system arrives. No doubt about cold air arriving Saturday night. Modified arctic air will arrive from the north. Temperature Sunday morning will be in the 20s. Moisture will be limited but I think it's possible a few flurries will fall Sunday. No accumulation in Portland or the valley but the mountains may get an inch or two.
Temperatures begin to moderate Monday and Tuesday Oregon liquid sunshine will be possible.
Regards
Dave

Dave or Matt,
There were quite a few numbers from the media over our recent snow event. What I can't find are the actual "official" snow fall amounts over our 2008/2009 winter storm. Where is a good place to find those facts? Also, are there other historical numbers that can be used for accurate comparisons?
Dave, it if fun to see you on the TV in the Portland area... I am a former Alaskan who enjoyed your forcasts up there for years!
