A nice break from winter today, mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the 40s. Even the east winds coming out of the Columbia River Gorge will settle down. Peak gusts will stay under 25mph. The break will be short lived, tonight a cold front arrives from the north. Clouds will increase and Tuesday will be a fairly damp day. Snow levels will stay low and several inches of freshies will fall at local ski resorts.
From Wednesday through the weekend we'll settle into a fairly typical pattern of mostly cloudy skies and rain showers. Temperatures will be close to normal.
