Today through the weekend are some of the busiest travel days of the year. Millions of people will be taking to the roads, rails and planes for Thanksgiving. Fortunately most of my family is nearby so my travel plans are literally a short drive across town. I have some good news if your drive is hundreds instead of tens of miles. Gas prices are at there lowest levels in 3 years and weather won't be much if any factor this year.

Outside of a weak weather system today and another one late Thanksgiving Day the forecast across the entire Pacific Northwest is pretty quiet. Snow levels are going to remain high for this time of year. If you're heading over the Cascades, Blue or Siskiyou mountains, passes might be wet but not white.

Drive carefully and remember don't be a glutton at the table. (advise from my mother)
