Another day of 70 degree temperatures showing up in Portland and the Willamette Valley. Salem, had a high temperature of 75 Sunday. That's a new record for the date. We'll have another day of highs in the upper 60s and low 70s around the region. Portland, should reach 70 degrees today. That's not a record but well above normal for this time of year. We should be seeing highs in the upper 50s.
My 10 cup vintage 1987 Braun coffee maker died late last week. A private service was held at the Salesky house and a tear was shed by the Braun's owner David J. Salesky, but by nobody else. The Braun will be buried at the Waste Management Facilities In Arlington, Oregon. In leiu of flowers the Braun was replaced by a 2008 Krups coffee maker.
