If Seattle does not have a 3rd runway, why should Portland. Makes good sense not to have one as Seattle is a major metropolitan city. Portland is not.
Actually, the Port of Seattle is building a third parallel runway right now. It will open in the next year. But the point is taken, and PDX really doesn't have the traffic right now to warrant a third parallel runway.
