If you’ve been watching the show, you’ve seen us run lots of comments from Twitter. Unless you’re among the twitterati, however, you may have no idea what the heck twitter is. The best quick explanation I’ve seen is from @verso, who called it “More than instant messaging, less than email. Public like a blog, but 140 chars tops.” Our twitter friends at The Delta Park Project sent a link to this slightly longer (but still short!) video explanation: So join up and start following people! The show is @TheSquare, where we update you on our progress putting everything together, and send along interesting links we find during the day. Steph’s personal twitter feed is @StephStricklen, where she muses on the glamorous (I say that ironically) life of a TV anchor. It's great to see KGW using Twitter! It's a new way to engage your viewers, and I predict it will be big!

I live near the PDX airport on NE 48th Ave. It's snowing BUCKETS. It was clear an 38 degrees earlier this morning. Sincr about 8:30a we've gotten about 2 inches of snow.
Remind folks to fill bird feeders and chip out the ice in bird baths. My backyard is a virtual refuge for birds.
I wonder who is paying the hospital bill for the laDY THAT HAD THOSE EIGHT BABIES ??
Why is Tri Met promoting a new bridge and light rail when it is cutting routes and raising prices now? Portland doesnt even have adequate bus service from the airport.There is no service after 11.30 p.m., and quess what: planes are delayed a lot. Lon

Why are we spending 30,000 dollars plus on changing the name of a street when there are schools that need money and streets that needs repaving? We are in a financial depression and the tax payers money is being used on renaming a street. I am disgusted!!!
