After complaining for two weeks that Matt Groening wasn't giving Oregon any hometown lovin', he finally came through with an interview in this morning's Oregonian.

In a startling blow to us here in Matt Groening's home state, Springfield, Vermont has won the contest to host the premiere of the Simpsons Movie. (Link)

Oregon came in third, some 1500 votes behind Vermont and 740 behind Illinois.
