I think he gets off on being percieved as a pariah. He feels powerful because he can look and leer and threaten, but he can't be arrested unless he actually molests someone.

He stops short of committing a direct offense, though I'm sure the parents of the girls on his website feel otherwise.

I don't appreciate his perception that Portland is a safe harbor for him.

If I found out this "person" took a picture of my "LG" - well - nevermind - I'm already having fantasies of how I would like to hurt him. This "person" is a waste of oxygen. Oregon is not a "haven" for offenders. Although i have learned the hard way that Oregon caters to it's criminals and craps on the victims of~ i was the lady who was shot sniper style by a 20 yr old punk with a 9mm last sept.on I-205(that case will soon be DISMISSED!). This report says that a judge ruled him not to go around kids but he clearly admits going to the state fair to look at them- hellooo!

I think it is shameful the amount of news coverage/worthiness you are giving this creep. you need to shut him down by not glamorizing him. post his picture with warning, but giving him credence is a big mistake and will only draw other nut jobs out of the woodwork. kids will see his face and think, oh, yeah, he's famous and it's ok to talk/pose/go with him. drop him from the nearest bridge and stop making him a hero!

As a therapist and social worker who has worked in child protection for many years I think the question is not why Jack is doing what he is doing, but why the media in Portland think it's a great idea to give this guy attention (translation: reinforcing his dangerous and dysfunctional behavior).
