The format was as newsworthy as the candidates' comments in the second televised Presidential debate between Senators McCain and Obama Tuesday evening.

Although billed as a "Town Hall" format, audience members didn't interact with the candidates except to pose their questions. Similarly, questions from the internet were read to the senators.
