Oregon's "Virility Television"

The NY Times reviews the History Channel's "Ax Men," starring loggers from Oregon.

The narrator's inflection and cadences sound like those in nature documentary voice-overs, making you feel as if you’re watching hyenas and not people. The unseemliness of shows like "Ax Men" comes from this sense of exploitation. Workingmen are served up as untamed beasts, a thrill ride for a world full of bored cubicle Joes who take risks when they change their screensavers. (Link)

Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN lies about Sen. Obamas pastors words. Rev Wright was actually quoting Edward Peck, former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq who stated these words on Fox News. They knew this! Listen to the full content of the sermon.

No one said change would be easy...No one said that there wouldn't be casualties along the way.

Sen. Obama has been hit with a barrage of media artillery, yet he continue through all to fight for the simplest of our constitutional freedoms. Not from the corporate offices, but from the impoverished households.

It's funny that we have somehow developed a stereotypical fear of others, when the very essence of America is the exact opposite. We can not hold one man accountable for another; however, we can hold him accountable for what he's done and the sacrifices he's made for working not talking to help others.

This country needs strong minded strong willed people to change and unify.

Message to all...I am a African-American Christian (Hebrews_11 by Faith) serving in the USAF. One my best friends is Muslim and we attend the same chapel...He is mixed African/White America…See link:

In the military we attempt to transcend race, ethnicity, religion, etc. We are not naive to think that there are those amongst us you struggle with it, but we deal with it.

So yes, there are men and women of all color and faith that are willing to fight and die for you to have the freedom to choose. They fight unified and will gladly put their life above others regardless of their differences. This is what unification is about...This is what true freedom is about.
Change means so many different things to all of us. Change for me is electing a candidate who can empathize with a single mom struggling; because he's been there. Change to me is electing a candidate who has struggled with his own internal identity, who see's both sides of the fence and can take this struggle and use it as a message for unification vs. division. Change means finally electing someone who gets it...that majority of Americans are middle class to poor and our voices silenced by money and greed. Why?...because he's been there.

Fear not the words of misrepresentation, but listen to the word in your heart...Let God deal with the ugliness and let us deal with the task at hand...putting Sen. Obama into office, changing this country and changing the world. This is our chance...we are the movement...Sen. Obama is the conduit in which our change will flow...but we must be strong enough to seize the moment and hold on to it.
