Greetings from "The Heartland"
We have arrived in Omaha....and boy is it hot here!! Just walking out the airport doors was enough to make you want to take a shower. We just finished up writing and editing 3 stories...and have to run (actually drive) over to the NBC affiliate here to "feed" them back to Portland. Just saw on the 5 o'clock news here that 2 tornados have touched down about 80 miles away....YIKES!! That's the midwest for you.
We off to feed....so tune in at 5, 6, 6:30 and 10 & 11. I'll be posting later about the Beavs final practice and my impressions. I will tell you....this OSU team is as ready as ever to repeat!
