Zach Randolph
I said on the air last night that Zach Randolph is not only making a play for the all-star team, but at this rate he would have to be considered an MVP candidate.
Obviously 5 games into the season is a bit premature on both fronts. However, if he is still performing at this clip in a couple months I think national media members may start echoing those sentiments.
Now comes the big BUT.
But Zach has to show everyone, inside and outside of Portland, that he has grown both on and off the court.
MVP candidtaes don't have scrapes with the law.
MVP candidates don't show up late for work.
Zach has been guilty of both those things in the past.
If he truly has turned a corner those things will be a thing of the past and Randolph will get all the accolades he deserves.
If he reverts back to the Zach of old he will never get the things he covets most.
An All Star game invite.
Being a team leader.
And leading the Blazers back into the playoffs.
Your comments are always welcome.
