Wattles
The news that Mark Wattles, the founder of Hollywood Video, is interested in buying the Blazers is very, very interesting. Besides Damon Stoudamire and his mysterious oil friends, this is a serious businessman and a serious buyer.
Now we will see if Paul Allen has been bluffing or if he is ready to give up thew team. All the potential buyers before have been people standing in shadows and others wishing on a prayer. Wattles has the money and has the guts to buy the team and the arena.
If you read up about him you will find him to be a real interesting person. Kind of like a Mark Cuban. A savvy businessman man who takes chances.
It's obvious this franchise needs a real breath of fresh air and maybe Mark Wattles can provide it.
