I don't have inside knowledge of this, but I feel fairly confident that Robinson is gonna see this out--- at least until his next recruiting class is in place. No... And who wouldn't right now? Tonight, the Beavs beat Stanford for the third time in four meetings this season to advance to the best-of-3 finals against Texas El-Paso. Yes, I know, it's the postseason tournament that 'really doesn't matter'. I get that. But trust me, it does matter in the eyes of everyone who bleeds black and orange. It's a complete 180 from where this program was just 11 months ago. They were all lost in translatio... Of the NCAA's first 32 games... 8 are in Portland. And 4 are already in the books! On Friday, the PSU Vikings hope to make the NW a perfect 3-for-3. That, after the Huskies and Zags won earlier today at the Rose Garden. The vibrant atmosphere here in Portland has been incredible. "A great city to host" said a first time visitor from Chicago. Here's hoping that this is a sight of things to come. As a sportscaster, it's an ... Despite the economy, the secondary online ticket market for sports events and concerts is booming. One research firm says there's a 12% annual growth through 2012 in the $3 billion marketplace. So, I think overall Portland got a good draw of teams for the 1st and 2nd round games this week. All Washington and Gonzaga fans love the proximity of playing close to home. Only the Montana State Bobcats stand in the way of Portland State's second consecutive trip to the NCAA tourney. The Big Sky Championship will get underway on Wednesday at roughly 7:30 PST. And, you can see it live on ESPN2. The Vikings weathered through a horrible performance to edge Idaho State, 61-53. |
