"Winning any Grand Slam is pretty cool," Parrott said afterward at the News conference,
"I definitely never thought I would win a mixed doubles US Open."

It is amazing because Parrott was ac...

Joe Becker

By Joe Becker

As some fans know, this is our 16th season for Friday Night Flights.

It's still a blast and I look forward to it every year. Last week, Ace Sports Photographer Brian Warner and I, covered Central Catholic's win over the Lakers at Lake Oswego.

It was a great game and I enjoyed a terrific Chili Cheese Dog.

Over the years I've seen some great games and had some great food to go along with it...

Never doubt that a lot can happen in a minute. Case in point: the aftermath of last night's Oregon-Boise St. game. Here at the station, the game wrapped up just as Joe Becker was about to go on the air with sports for our 10 o'clock show. The game clock hit zeros, and I got word to Joe the game was officially over before venturing out of the sports office for a drink of water. I came back into the office seconds later, and EVERYTHING had ...
