Despite the economy, the secondary online ticket market for sports events and concerts is booming. One research firm says there's a 12% annual growth through 2012 in the $3 billion marketplace.

But finding just the right seat to the hottest in-demand events has meant searching through dozens of ticket selling websites--until now.

FanSnap collects information from 57 online ticket sellers. The new website goes live this Friday and will also include "best ticket value" information for each event and over 200 maps that not only show seat locations but let's a user actually see what the view looks like from that seat.

Mike Janes, CEO and co-founder of FanSnap, is an expert on the online ticket market. He previously was a senior executive at StubHub, a major ticket reseller that was acquired by E-Bay.

I'm told that this will be the "creme de la creme" of ticket sites... so give it a whirl starting Friday.
