Dancing in the Rose City

So, I think overall Portland got a good draw of teams for the 1st and 2nd round games this week. All Washington and Gonzaga fans love the proximity of playing close to home.
If there is one game that could potentially be a first round upset here... it's the UW-Mississippi State contest. The Bulldogs are coming in on a high... after winning the SEC Championship. It might not be the best opening round opponent... but if the Dawgs can get past MSU, they'd likely face Purdue--- which I'd predict an easy win for UW.

In case you have missed the opening round schedule... here's a Rose Garden refresher:

11:30 a.m. Northern Iowa vs. Purdue
25 min. following conclusion Mississippi State vs. Washington
4:25 p.m. Akron vs. Gonzaga
30 min. following conclusion Western Kentucky vs. Illinois

I cannot wait to see Gonzaga and UW, but why is there only about 30 minutes between the two sessions on Thursday when the arena will have to be emptied and everyone readmitted with their session 2 ticket?

The Gonzaga game may be starting with an empty area on national TV.
