27 down... but still 7 to go! Papa Johns... Emerald Nuts... and Bell Helicopters! Wow....the corporate sponsors are a little much for me. Unlike the majority of you... I have to try to "study" these matchups and be the 'authority' figure on 'em all. But I've had it with this years bowl games-- now that the Pac-10 teams are finished. And how bout that? The conference that everybody from coast to coast said was having a "down year"... finishes a perfect 5 and 0. Not too shabby, huh? There is a lot of parity in college football this year, which I love. I'm thankful to be an Oregon native and be able to talk about the 19 wins combined this season between the Ducks and the Beavers. What great seasons by both schools-- even when adversity hit them square in the mouth. The Ducks with their injured QB corp, and the Beavs with the Rodgers brothers getting dinged up. Still, a 2008 was a year to celebrate... but I'm done with the remaining bowls. None of 'em matter until January 8ths down in Miami.
