Ducks starting QB Justin Roper hurt his left knee in overtime of their win over Purdue 32-26.
Head Coach Mike Bellotti says that he expects Roper to be out 2 to 4 weeks.

Freshman QB Chris Harper ran the offense when Roper went out and the Ducks won the game on LeGarrette Blount's 3 yard TD run in the 2nd OT.

Harper has seen playing time in all three of the Ducks games this season. Oregon also has JC Transfer Jeremiah Masoli available. Masoli is a Sophomore and played in the first two games of the season...but did not see action against Purdue.

The Ducks say that Roper will have an MRI tomorrow and they should know more by Monday.
