Sadly, it's happened to Pilots forward Rachael Rapinoe once again. The Redshirt Senior is out for the season with a knee injury for the second year in a row. She re-tore the ACL in her left knee. It's the same injury she suffered a year ago...four games into the season.\\

This time, it was three games into the season. Rapinoe went down in the first half against top ranked USC on Monday at UP. Rapinoe was hoping for the best...but an MRI revealed the injury.

Rapinoe's college career is over. Pilots Media Relations Director Jason Brough told me that Rachael is going to postpone surgery for awhile and support the team. She is planning to graduate this year.
