By Joe Becker The Brett Favre situation is getting interesting. Right now, Favre is a former NFL Star...since he retired. However, now he wants to un-retire and the Packers aren't too thrilled about it. I don't blame the Packers or Favre, however if Brett wants to come back that's his right. He is one of the great QBS of all-time so he should get a break on this one. Favre asked the Packers to release him...but Green Bay said no. I think they should either let him come back as the starter, or release him. It's not fair to Favre to hold him back like that. He deserves a shot to play. If its not with the Packers...then he should be able to go somewhere else....and PLAY. 3 CommentsLeave a comment |

Brett has played this game for the last three years. Always holding out till the end and then at the very last moment saying "I want to play."
Enought is enough. I am a Green Bay Packer fan, a Brett Favre fan and I was born in Wisconsin. This is going to do nothing but continue to make matters worse for him and the Green Bay packer fans that need to get behind Aaron Rogers and move on. I can see this becoming another Joe Montana debacle when San Francisco traded him to put in Steve Young.
Nothing good can come of this unless Brett just finally says goodbye and looks back on a legacy and career that was truly remarkable.
Favre should just go away.
I'm tired of all the hype of "I'm retired, no I'm not". Go away Favre and don't come back.
I AGREE!!!!! Green Bay wouldn't be anything without Brett!!!!! He is what made them who they are!!!!
