This handsome young man is Louie. He is a happy five year old fellow who will need a little time to get settled into a new home. Once he has adjusted, he is a playful, silly clown. He loves to be near his people and is content to lie at your feet or sit beside you on the couch. Louie prefers the company of his people and his ideal home would be one where someone is home most of the time or where he has a furry playmate who will play with him (pet meet required). Louie has quite the vocabulary when he thinks there may be the chance of food. He knows the commands sit and beg.

Louie loves to play and go for walks and he does best when he gets daily exercise. He walks very well on a leash. Louie arrived at OHS with some medical issues with his skin and eyes (dry eye). Those issues are now under control but he will require eye drops twice a day for the rest of his life and a special diet for his skin. His new family will be provided with a medical consultation to learn about his needs.

In his foster home, he has lived with other dogs and been around children. After he learns your routine or you learn his, he is housebroken.
