Noah is a two-year-old Akita mix. He is a sweet soul who is looking for a quiet home where he can be given plenty of time to adjust. He does not do well in new situations, with loud noises, or lots of people. Noah will need to find an adult only home to settle into. He came to OHS with 125 dogs rescued from a neglect case in Burns, Oregon so a patient person who will go slow to build his trust is very important. Noah has really improved on house training and walking on a leash. Noah will adjust with a dedicated and patient owner in time. He seems to do well with other dogs and would be nice to have a resident dog to help him settle into his new home. His adoption fee is $55, which includes a collar, ID tag, cat carrier, microchip, free vet examination, one month of pet health insurance, and plenty of information. All pets at the Oregon Humane Society are spayed or neutered and subject to prior adoption. Visit Noah at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., or call (503) 285-7722 for more information. Oregon Humane Society
