Fall sets in and there's more to do still outside too - like pick pumpkins and squash, one to carve and one to throw in the crock p... LOS ANGELES -- A Neil Diamond show set for the Rose Garden was rescheduled.
If you haven't played hooky or taken the day off to get out yet, here's what's up. Hood to Coast of course, huge numbers this year. And please - don't throw your empty beer cans at the runners again. The Dew Action tour gets real ill at the Ros... Sometimes there's such a dearth of shows when you want to see live music you gotta do it yourself. The coming weeks are not one of thoe dearths. Can I pluralize that?
Trying to ignore the reality check that summer isn't going to last forever, I'm weedend warring, trying to pack as much as possible into the days of paradise. Take this past weekend as a perfect example, The Bite was in full swing, saw several friends playing on the stages while taking in tastes smells and familiar faces. Like this one you may know as IRON CHEF AMERICA CAT CORA!!!
First: The Waterfront is getting no lack of action this summer as the Bite of Oregon kicks off with exploding deliciousness fo... Cripes, there's a lot happening this weekend as we try to cram as much summer in while we still can. Everyone's buzzing about the FlugTag down at Waterfront Park - I'm hoping it won't be too crowded, as the flying machines dunk into the river Saturday afternoon.
It's the dog days of summer - or High Summer as I like to call it - and you know what that means: Not much time for blogging on the computer, there's too much to do! If you're venturing downtown for beers, it's the big one, Oregon Brewer's fest at Waterfront. Get there early or don't bother, the crowds grow bigger, louder and ... OK, it's all officially over - MTV does PDX. |
