I have to agree with the Mercury - the Portland Adult Soapbox Derby is the "funnest" event of the summer around here,
Cruising up and down the pathway meeting friends I haven't seen in months, checking out coolers and leaping out of the way when the "CLEAR THE TRACK" sbullhorns blar, and of course the creative and speedy cars winding their way down.

Meanwhile - at Slabtown it's the pinball SHOWDOWN AT SLABTOWN!

Pinball wizzes, dirty rock and roll and more at 16th and Marshall in NW.
